Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat is a Senior Move Manager and why are their services needed?
A Senior Move Manager is a professional specializing in assisting senior adults and their families with the moving process. Special consideration is given to help with the emotional AND physical toll that comes with making this change. Social changes have made it increasingly difficult for family members or friends to provide all of the physical and emotional assistance needed for a later life move of a loved one. Many older adults have not moved in many years. They often have grown children living far away who have children themselves and demanding careers. Whatever the situation, they need assistance when it comes time to transition from one living situation to another. With older people making up the fastest growing segment of the U.S. population, senior move management has emerged to fill the gaps and make moving easier for everyone involved.
